A wine from a pure vine
Shared in tender beauty
Poured out from a crimson chalice.
Taste the sharpness of the fruit
Strong sweetness entwined with goodness
Scarlet blossom, delicate richness.
From a rich nectar ruby drops seep
Delicate tears cascade, overflow, so
drink the dew and be thankful.
(I am the vine; you
are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much
fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. – John 15:6)
that last verse is so emotional to me...the crimson tears...the thankfulness..its powerful alan
