The Letter

Stained tears
Ink kissed paper
The regret dried  slowly
I cannot find your faith or hope
Lost words
The heart stretched across the kind page
A cry in the darkness
For forgiveness
In tears

  1. Very pretty and melancholy. Somewhat reminds me of Gordon Lightfoot's song "Your Love's Return."

  4. I liked "Ink kissed paper" along with the asking for forgiveness in the poem. It says so much with each line, I really like it and can just imagine someone sitting there with one light on a desk, sitting there trying to write it.

Thanks for sharing this poem with us for this weeks Theme Thursday. Hope you weekend is filled with lots of happiness and letters of love.

    God bless.
